I had a good time with this kit, and the story worked really well once we got going. That said, I think it’s only fair to point out that hosting takes more prep than I expected. I had to print things, sort everything out, and read through quite a bit beforehand so I could run it properly. It was still worth it, and everyone enjoyed it, but don’t leave it to the last minute. Give yourself time so you can do it justice

I had a fun time with it, but I went in expecting the characters to have a bit more depth. The overall experience was enjoyable and kept me entertained, but the characters felt kind of flat and didn’t really stick with me afterward.

We used nightofmystery.com for a party, it was a lot of fun. The plot was actually really good, like, enough twists that people kept changing their guesses, but it didn’t get so complicated that everyone was just confused. The clues made sense too, which I appreciated, because sometimes these things can feel kind of random. Everyone was talking about who did it pretty much the whole night, and even after, people were still bringing it up. It felt like a real mystery game, not just a bunch of drama thrown together. Definitely something I’d use again for another party.

Not gonna lie, I really liked all the different themes they had. It actually made picking one kind of fun instead of feeling like a chore.

Everything was really easy to follow from start to finish. I also liked that the emails and receipt were clear, so I didn’t have to go digging around for any details

Got everyone assigned really fast, and it was super easy to sort out. No hassle at all, which was nice.

The party vibe was fun overall, and I had a decent time. Umm, there were a few moments where things kind of dragged, and some people seemed confused about what was going on, but it still ended up being a okay night.

We played one of the murder mystery games with a group of friends, and from what I remember, everyone had a decent time overall. The beginning felt like it took a bit to really get moving, but then toward the end, a few parts seemed to happen too quickly. I also remember a couple people being unsure about when they were supposed to reveal certain information, which made things a little confusing. It wasn’t a bad experience at all, and we still had fun, but thinking back on it, I just wish the pacing had been a bit smoother.

The age ratings felt spot on for our group. I think other customers would appreciate how easy it is to tell what’s appropriate before jumping in.

It was easy enough to use, but I still found myself feeling a bit lost at times?? Not sure if I missed something obvious, but it could’ve been a little clearer.

The printables came out really clear and were easy to read. Setup was simple too, which I appreciated. I guess they weren’t anything super fancy, but they looked nice even on regular paper and did exactly what I needed.

Some were way too obvious, while others felt kind of random and didn’t help move the game forward at all. A few people got confused and pretty much lost interest halfway through. Maybe we just picked the wrong game, but for the price, I expected the clues to be a lot better. It wasn’t terrible, just kind of disappointing overall.

I actually really liked how the clues and host materials were set up. The mystery didn’t get spoiled too early, which, shockingly, is not always a given with these things. Everyone got into it, nobody accidentally stumbled onto the answers, and I didn’t have to spend the whole night babysitting the game. So yeah, it made the evening way easier to run.

Setup took longer than I expected, which was a little annoying at first, but it wasn’t that big of a deal once I got going. Everything worked fine in the end, and the game went smoothly.

We had people dropping in and out at the last minute, so I was worried it would throw the whole game off. But it was really easy to adjust for our group size, and it still worked just fine. Like, seriously, so easy. It made planning way less stressful...

I ordered quickly and the payment went through just fine, no problems at all. Everything was easy and smooth, so yeah, I’m happy with it.
